Our Story

Born from a Parent's Frustration, Built on Proven Science

Our story begins at the intersection of reading intervention and software engineering, grounded in time-tested principles that work. One-on-one instruction has long been the gold standard, but we have reached a moment where AI, machine intelligence, and comprehensive data capture can deliver powerful intervention online. Through engaging learning experiences and parent dashboards and portals that make progress, strengths, and gaps visible, we help families support growth. Our adaptive courses blend proven practices with modern technology so each student gets the right support at the right time.

The Orton-Gillingham Difference

Developed in the 1930s by Dr. Samuel Orton and educator Anna Gillingham, the Orton-Gillingham approach is a direct, explicit, multisensory method for teaching reading. It does not rely on memorization or guessing from context. Instead, it systematically teaches the relationships between letters and sounds, building from simple to complex in a logical progression.

Multisensory

Every lesson engages visual, auditory, and kinesthetic-tactile pathways simultaneously.

Systematic and Sequential

Concepts are introduced in a carefully ordered sequence, from simple to complex, with no gaps.

Direct and Explicit

Skills are taught directly — nothing is left to chance or assumed to be picked up through exposure.

Diagnostic and Prescriptive

Instruction is continuously adjusted based on the learner's performance and needs.

Cumulative

Each lesson reviews and builds on all previously learned material, reinforcing long-term retention.

Our Mission

We believe every child can learn to read — they just need the right method and enough practice. Our mission is to make structured literacy accessible, engaging, and affordable for every family, regardless of geography, income, or diagnosis.

Built by Educators and Technologists

Our team leverages experience training hundreds of students with dyslexia and years of experience in computer software and engineering. Every design decision is research-informed and tested with real families.
